Hannah Goodwin is a multi-talented vocalist, pianist, songwriter, arranger, and educator whose artistry transcends genres. Whether performing in intimate venues or on grand stages, Hannah captivates audiences with her unique blend of tradition and innovation. Her dynamic performances fuse jazz and R&B roots with a creative spontaneity, taking listeners on immersive musical journeys that leave them feeling connected and inspired.

Known for her versatility in both live and studio settings, Hannah's vocal style seamlessly shifts between genres, creating standout moments for her fellow musicians while bringing her own authenticity and virtuosity to the forefront. As a sought-after performer, she has had the privilege to work with some of the most celebrated artists in contemporary music, including Säje, Laila Biali. Dawn Clement, and Nicole Zuratis.

Hannah's musical journey began in her hometown, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and led her to the prestigious School for Music Vocations in Creston, Iowa, where she earned an Associate of Applied Arts degree in Professional Music. There, under the mentorship of Grammy-nominated Dr. Jeremy Fox, she honed her skills across a wide spectrum of classical and jazz disciplines, with a focus on jazz arranging, piano, and vocal performance.

Currently, Hannah is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Voice at the University of North Texas, where she studies under the esteemed Rosana Eckert and Jennifer Barnes. A key figure in UNT’s jazz community, she has been a featured member of the award-winning UNT Jazz Singers and currently serves as the lead vocalist for the Grammy-nominated One O'Clock Lab Band. Her time at UNT has been marked by numerous high-profile performances, as well as opportunities to collaborate on significant recording projects.

In addition to her work as a performer, Hannah is a prolific songwriter and arranger, with compositions and arrangements performed by top-tier ensembles, including the UNT Jazz Singers and The One O'Clock Lab Band.
Hannah’s remarkable talent and dedication have earned her national recognition, including multiple DownBeat awards, most recently for Vocal Jazz Soloist in the Undergraduate Division. She is the recipient of numerous competitive music scholarships and grants, further affirming her commitment to excellence in her craft.
